TANZANIA
TRAVELS & ART
A storyteller of African life — its people, wilderness, traditions, and art..
Aljaž
Aljaž
He is a university-educated actor by profession. He was employed at the SNG Drama Ljubljana theater for 12 years. He has appeared in numerous plays, films, and series in Slovenia and around the world. He has received numerous awards for his roles and in 2016 he was the recipient of the Borštnik Award for acting, the most prestigious award for acting achievements in Slovenia.
Aljaž has always been driven by an adventurous spirit, he has traveled a good part of the world and all the while he had a feeling that his theater life in Slovenia would also come to an end.
And so it was. In 2018, he left the Slovenian National Theater and confidently embarked on a new chapter in his life. Without fear.
In 2018, he visited Tanzania for the first time and felt at home there, treating the people he met as old friends.
Aljaž is also at home in the arts. He always has his camera with him, which he uses to capture the most delicate and sincere moments of his travels.
This is how he creates films and short films with which he wants to present the soul of a place to people and invite them on unforgettable journeys. The films are often accompanied by moody notes that constantly remind us of humanity, a relaxed world that does not strive for perfection but celebrates life and the most delicate and sensitive parts of ourselves and our home, the Earth.
Aljaž personally explores and traverses the trails and trekking routes multiple times before offering them to visitors, either on his own or together with local guides and experts. A spirit of exploration, a search for solitude and silence, and authentic tradition and art are the guiding principles of his exploration and giving himself over to the dramatic and breathtaking wilderness of East Africa.
Aljaž is the facilitator of the Sanaa-Art program on safaris. He is a storyteller of African life—its people, wilderness, traditions and art..
A place where you reconnect with yourself and fill up with peace.
Aruna
She is a professional consultant and expert in the field of complementary medicine who studies the energy structure of people and spaces. She is the creator of the P.E.C.A. method. She is director of P.E.C.A. International d.o.o. company.
The acronym P.E.C.A. stands for:
Professional Energetic Comprehensive Assistance
From an early age, she has been interested in the causes of human illness. In her intense search for answers, she has encountered various masters and self-realized individuals along her life’s journey, through whom she has awakened her own consciousness and gained insights into the structure and functioning of energy.
She has been professionally involved in complementary medicine since 1992. Since then, she has been intensively studying the workings of energy and developing measurable methods to provide concrete help to people.
In 2004, she graduated from the International University of Complementary Medicine in Sri Lanka (Faculty of Medical Studies – Medicina Alternativa Institute affiliated with The Open International University for Complementary Medicines, Alma-Ata 1962) as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine or M.D. (M.A.).*
Based on further research, after completing her degree, she independently developed the P.E.C.A. method, which incorporates a comprehensive professional approach to energy complementary medicine for the individual. In 2009, the P.E.C.A. method was validated and recognized by the same university in Sri Lanka, and Aruna was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Complementary Medicine**.
With her professional knowledge and meditative work, Aruna helps people in distress on a daily basis
by helping them become aware of the patterns of their problems, thereby allowing their consequences to completely fade away. As she often puts it, in this work, it is not she who heals, but the energy itself.
With over 30 years of regular meditation practice, Aruna guides and teaches individuals on how to safely begin meditating. She leads weekly meditation sessions and programs using the P.E.C.A. method.
In Tanzania, through P.E.C.A. International company, Aruna runs a Silence and Meditation program and other programs in an exceptional natural setting, which she describes as “a natural ashram that allows an individual or a group of people to connect more deeply with themselves and be filled with peace.”
