A&A Safari & Sanaa
is a tourism company founded in Tanzania. Safari means journey and Sanaa means art in Swahili. These two concepts represent the essence of our exploration and the fields we would like to introduce to our guests.
Traveling and exploring the natural beauty, culture, and art of Tanzania is at the heart of our company. We bring visitors closer to authentic places, events, and people. You will see lions, elephants, rhinos, different tribes, etc., but that is by no means the essence of our journey. The essence is authentic contact with this country, which, in a unique way of traveling, constantly directs you inward, toward new ideas, joy, relaxation, and enjoyment. Therefore, you do not need to think about what you would like to see or where you would like to go. Let East Africa reveal itself to you in all its richness and beauty, in noise and silence, on the road and in the savannah, in the sea and on a boat, in the company of tribes and in solitude.
And why are we unique?
Primarily because I myself have been in close contact with this country and its people every day for several years now. Because we don't rush and all the routes are carefully planned so that you can fully immerse yourself in your journey and become one with this country for a few days. We will not rush through the national parks, but will spend the night in them, around the evening fire, where you will be immersed in ancient African stories under the starry sky. In your sleep, you will be able to hear the roar of lions or the rumbling of buffalo and elephants near your "glamping" tent. You will get to know the Masai in their authentic environment and, with a stroke of luck, visit one of their celebrations with singing and dancing. Because you will be able to immerse yourself in the warm water spring that flows from the depths of the tectonic rift. Because you will be able to walk with giraffes in a completely natural environment. Because you can go on a unique 4-day trek through the breathtaking landscape of the East African Great Rift Valley
Because in Zanzibar, you will visit the locals and enjoy their simplicity, drinking coconut welcome drinks with them – away from the most visited parts of Zanzibar. You will enjoy their dances and singing, which is a mixture of African, Arabic, and Indian influences. If you are the sporty type, we will go play soccer with the locals. And last but not least, because all of this is imbued with a true spirit of exploration, without artificial, pre-staged smiles.
SANAA – ART – NENE – WORD
Sanaa, meaning art, is a word that originates from the Koran. Loosely translated, it means divine light that shines on a particular thing and makes it more beautiful.

I have spent a large part of my life on stage telling stories. Tanzania is full of stories – written ones and those passed down from generation to generation through oral tradition. Stories about people's lives, about creation, about fantastical events. Fables (animal tales) and Swahili proverbs also have a very strong significance in the local culture.
I would like to share these stories with you on your journey. With the knowledge and passion I have gained from my life on stage and, above all, from researching the cultural heritage of this region, I would like to share with you the simple wisdom hidden in words before they are lost in the spirit of time. You will hear the stories in the evenings by the fire – when the memory of the ancient inhabitants of the savannah you met on your journey is still vivid and when the sisters of the stars – the bearers of timelessness – are already twinkling above us.
